Assembler Wirer III Job Description

At North Atlantic Industries, we are seeking a highly skilled Assembler Wirer III to join our team. As a key member of our assembly team, you will be responsible for reading and interpreting complex wiring diagrams, color codes, prints, and wire lists to build high-complexity harnesses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret complex wiring diagrams, color codes, prints, and wire lists.
  • Build harnesses of high complexity.
  • Utilize a high degree of proficiency to wire and solder various components within circuits and chassis.
  • Perform mechanical assembly of high-complexity chassis and final assemblies.
  • Occasionally employ basic knowledge of electrical theory and its application to basic wiring and testing using voltage and ohmmeters.
  • May be required to perform continuity checks and rework.
  • Ability to work to IPC Manufacturing Standards.

Qualifications and Education:

  • High School or technical trade school graduate preferred, or training in military service.
  • Minimum of five (5) years recent wiring experience.
  • IPC Certification preferred.

Language Skills:

  • Must be fluent in written English.
  • Good interpersonal skills required to interface with various interdepartmental personnel.
