**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled UT Shear Wave Technician to join our team at Acuren Inspection. As a key member of our operations in Raleigh, NC, you will be responsible for setting up and utilizing non-destructive testing equipment, calibrating equipment, and establishing techniques for proper examination of objects under inspection.

Responsibilities:

  • Set up and utilize non-destructive testing equipment
  • Calibrate non-destructive testing equipment
  • Establish techniques for proper examination of objects under inspection, ensuring strict adherence to safety regulations
  • Apply testing criteria in accordance with applicable specifications or standards and evaluate results
  • Organize and report test results
  • May perform specialized inspections
  • May instruct and supervise others
  • Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by management

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Some college preferred
  • Certified Level II UTSW
  • Technical background in NDT methods and procedures
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively perform assigned NDT tasks and interpret results of inspections
  • Knowledge of NDT equipment
