Job Description:

As a Mechanical Assembler at Wingo Service Company, Inc., you will be responsible for laying out, installing, maintaining, and repairing all types of tubing, fittings, and fixtures in plant maintenance and construction.

Responsibilities:

  • Laying out work, calculating dimensions, and radii of bends, making sketches of tubing
  • Building spreadsheets for bends and gang runs, setting up and operating bending, threading, and cutoff equipment, using hand tools, and preparing and fabricating tubing
  • Testing, inspecting, dismantling, repairing, replacing, or installing any type of high or low-pressure tubing, fittings, fixtures, and parts for installation, maintenance, and repair
  • Setting up tubes for orbital welding
  • Fabricating hangers and supports
  • Fabricating and assembling pumps, skids, PVC, and plastic tubing
  • Handling or making provisions for handling materials, equipment, and tools to and from the job site in connection with the work
  • Cleaning all work areas
  • Performing any other duties assigned by the supervisor
  • Performing all work safely and efficiently and keeping work area clean and orderly
  • Willing to work with the electrical crew and other trades as job requires

Requirements:

  • A safety-first mindset and culture
  • 2-3 years of work experience as an industrial tube-bender/Instrument Fitter or has completed a curriculum closely related to tube-bender/Instrument Fitter work from a vocational institution

Salary: $35-$45 per hour based on experience
