Behavioral Health Therapist

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Behavioral Health Therapist to join our team at The Center for Youth and Family Solutions.
About the PositionAs a Behavioral Health Therapist, you will work with a diverse clientele, providing assessments, individual, marital, and family therapy, and education services. You will conduct family-centered, inclusive, trauma-responsive, and strengths-based assessments of the behavioral health needs of individual youth and adults, couples, and families.
You will partner with clients and identify collaterals to develop treatment goals to address their presenting issues and needs. You will build on client strengths and provide goal-directed mental health therapy and counseling services to clients.
You will offer services at times convenient to clients, including some evenings, and coordinate services with and provide consultation to other systems on behalf of clients, such as schools, medical providers, case workers/care coordinators, etc.
You will document services as required by legal statute, funder requirements, and agency policies.

- Document services as required by legal statute, funder requirements, and agency policies.
- Master's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling or Psychology, or closely related Human Service field;
- 2 years of experience in a clinical position (preferred);
- Completion of DCFS criminal background check and fingerprinting;
- Must be at least 21 years of age;
- Obtain an insured vehicle;
- At least three years of driving experience with a valid driver's license.
