About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Drainage Systems Specialist to join our team at Service Now Home Services. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining drain and sewer systems in residential properties.

Your in-depth knowledge of drainage systems, problem-solving abilities, and commitment to exceptional customer service will play a crucial role in resolving issues and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, assemble, maintain, and repair pipes and plumbing fixtures to ensure seamless functionality and optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with our Cured in Place Pipe Lining (CIPP) installation team to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Affix clamps, screws, brazing, soldering, welds, etc., to pipes and tubes to ensure secure connections.
  • Measure and modify pipes accordingly by cutting, threading, or bending pipes using specialized tools.
  • Diagnose plumbing problems and work to resolve any issues to minimize downtime and maximize customer satisfaction.
  • Repair or replace damaged parts to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Repair water line leaks to prevent costly damage and ensure customer safety.
  • Confirm pipe system is air/watertight by performing pressure tests to ensure optimal performance.
  • Keep detailed notes and create work reports documenting projects to ensure transparency and accountability.
  • Test plumbing and other installed fixtures to ensure proper functioning and optimal performance.
  • Follow state laws and regulations and adhere to local building codes to ensure compliance and customer safety.
  • Complete all required documentation, including checklists, and record model, serial numbers, and install dates in Service Titan on installs and collect, record, and deliver fees to designated office administration.
  • Facilitate orders for all parts required for appointments and ensure preparedness for the day of install.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to ensure seamless team operation and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a plumbing apprenticeship program is preferred.
  • Journeyman or Master Plumber license/certification is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a Drain & Sewer Technician, with a strong understanding of residential drain and sewer systems.
  • Proficiency in using drain cleaning equipment, video inspection tools, and plumbing tools.
  • Knowledge of different pipe materials, fittings, and fixtures commonly used in residential drainage systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex drainage issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to customers in a clear and friendly manner.
  • Exceptional customer service skills, with a commitment to exceeding customer expectations.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Physical ability to perform the duties of the job, including lifting heavy objects, working in confined spaces, and standing for extended periods.
