We are seeking a highly skilled Sanitation Supervisor to join our team at Tyson Foods Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality in our production facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Direct and supervise the cleaning of production equipment and facilities to meet food safety requirements.
- Ensure employees follow company policies and procedures related to sanitation and food safety.
- Develop and implement cleaning procedures to maintain sanitation quality and department efficiencies.
- Train and document sanitation workers on safe operation and disassembly of equipment.
- Ensure compliance with all safety rules and standards, including the proper use of personal protective equipment.
- Collaborate with management and chemical suppliers to improve sanitation results and reduce costs.
- Supervise and motivate sanitation production workers to achieve high standards of food safety and quality.
- 2+ years of manufacturing experience in the food industry, with a focus on sanitation.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience, with a preference for HACCP certification.
- Strong communication and analytical skills, with the ability to read and interpret documents such as MSDS and safety manuals.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on achieving high standards of food safety and quality.
