Goodall Brazier is in search of a Lead/Senior Superintendent for a distinguished general contractor.

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 10 years of experience in the construction industry, with at least 5 years managing projects independently from inception to completion. Experience in commercial construction and high-end finishes, particularly within the hospitality and winery sectors, is highly desirable.

Your primary responsibility will be overseeing all on-site operations and ensuring project safety, while collaborating closely with the Project Management team to maintain adherence to the established schedule and budget.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and organize the sequence of tasks and determine the necessary resources to uphold an effective schedule.
  • Engage in the selection process for subcontractors through interviews.
  • Create and execute a comprehensive site logistics strategy.
  • Oversee construction operations, including shutdowns, testing, and inspections.
  • Facilitate the coordination of equipment usage and upkeep.
  • Manage relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and, when required, the client.
  • Formulate project safety plans and specific safety initiatives tailored to the project.
  • Contribute to the project's budget management and cost control strategies.
  • Assist in the initiation and completion phases of the project.
  • Ensure quality assurance through inspections and managing punch list items.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to direct reports.

Compensation Package:

  • Base Salary: $170K - $200K based on experience
  • Bonus Structure: Year-end bonus based on company performance and project completion
