Key Responsibilities:- Conduct regular safety inspections of facilities, equipment, vehicles, customer sites, and processes to identify potential safety hazards and risks.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses to determine root causes and develop corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Develop, implement, and enforce safety policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Provide training and retraining to employees to reduce or eliminate risk and promote safety awareness.
- Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, training sessions, incident reports, and other safety-related documentation.
- High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety, Environmental Science, or related field strongly preferred.
- 2+ years' experience as a Safety Coordinator required; registration as a Certified Safety Professional or similar form of licensure preferred.
- Valid insurable driver's license and ability to successfully pass an MVR required.
- Compliance experience in the construction industry preferred; DOT Medical Card preferred; CPR/First Aid certification a plus.
