Osteopathic Medicine Professor Job Description:

The Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine is seeking a highly skilled Osteopathic Medicine Professor to join our adjunct faculty team. As an esteemed educator, you will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students in our clerkship courses.

Responsibilities:

  1. Teach and facilitate lectures, workshops, and seminars, using a variety of teaching methods and technologies.
  2. Develop and implement curriculum materials, assessments, and evaluations to ensure student learning outcomes.
  3. Provide individualized guidance and support to students, addressing their academic and professional needs.
  4. Participate in faculty meetings and committees, contributing to the development of academic policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Doctoral degree in osteopathic medicine or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in healthcare education, with a proven track record of teaching and mentoring students.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups.

Salary Range: $140,000 - $180,000 per annum, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
