Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect products using gauges and basic hand tools to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Test incoming raw materials to verify their quality and compliance.
  • Perform regular quality assessments on all incoming materials from vendors and outgoing products for shipping.
  • Reject products and materials that fail to meet quality expectations.
  • Read blueprints, plans, and specifications to understand product requirements.
  • Measure product dimensions, examine functionality, and compare to specifications.
  • Recommend improvements to the production process to ensure quality control.
  • Document inspection outcomes by completing detailed reports and performance records.
  • Identify quality issues and implement corrective actions.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred.
  • 0-3 years of experience performing inspection on metal parts.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office.
  • Good math and technical skills.
  • Strong understanding of quality control standards and testing techniques.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Practical experience in precision inspection equipment and calibration.
  • Knowledge in aerospace materials.
Physical and Environmental Factors:

The employee will work indoors within the office and manufacturing areas, occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes, or airborne particles, and toxic or caustic chemicals. The noise level is usually moderate or loud.

This role is subject to compliance with the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), requiring the incumbent to be a US citizen, lawful permanent resident, or have refugee or asylee status.
