Associate Banking Advisor RoleThe Associate Banking Advisor will play a critical role in supporting our lending team by providing credit support for various items, including acting as a liaison between lenders and the underwriting team, assisting lenders with due diligence for new loan requests, monitoring financial covenants and financial reporting tracking, reviewing loan documents, communicating with clients, and engaging in general business development activities.
This role requires a strong understanding of banking products and services, as well as excellent communication and presentation skills. The successful candidate will have a demonstrated experience in financial servicing/accounting fields with a client servicing background and formal credit training with a minimum of one year of experience performing credit analysis and underwriting.
Key Responsibilities- Assist Bankers with client portfolios and internal administration of accounts, communicating regularly with clients and attending client meetings.
- Assist Bankers with business development plans and client presentations.
- Coordinate and review loan documents for new and renewal fundings, submit loans documentation for evaluation and booking, and follow up on missing loan documentation to ensure receipt and complete submission.
- Coordinate commercial/custom approval process by submitting requests for underwriting and loan documentation, and assist Bankers to coordinate the preparation of loan documentation with internal and outside counsel.
- Develop and maintain a working knowledge of loan agreements, financial statements, compliance certificates, and other documentation required to monitor client relationships.
- Coordinate with National Credit Center, with oversight by the Relationship Managers, the preparation of Credit Memos.
- Coordinate with Account Managers, Treasury Management Consultants, and Operations team on transactions, including payments and borrowing, handle inquiry resolution, obtain appropriate documentation necessary for credit underwriting, monitoring, and credit file maintenance, request and ensure systems information is up to date, and execute client servicing events, communicating with clients and other internal and external partners.
- Oversee the development of appropriate action plans for client servicing and coordinate with other team members across the Trust and Investment disciplines to ensure execution and follow-up.
- Develop a clear understanding of client needs behind service requests and communicate to service partners, obtain appropriate information from partners and client to facilitate service changes or transactions.
- Assist Bankers with internal administration of accounts, including internal Loan Review process, business development, and client presentations for clients.
- Assist Banking teams and Leadership with special projects as assigned.
- Identify service efficiency enhancements, process improvements, and service delivery using creative and proactive measures.
- Be well-versed in the compliance requirements for new accounts and relationships, monitor loan document deficiencies, and review compliance reports for adherence to policy and procedures.
- Develop and maintain a working knowledge of various business applications critical to relationship management, including client online tools.
- Have direct interaction with committees and Senior Leadership.
Demonstrated experience, or equivalent, in financial servicing/accounting fields with client servicing background.
Formal credit training is required with a minimum of one year of experience performing credit analysis and underwriting.
Knowledge of banking products and services is required.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills are required.

Salary range is an estimate of base pay, and we offer a competitive salary of $85,000 to $130,000 USD.
