Job Title: Investment Banking Program Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Investment Banking Program Associate to join our Sustainable Finance and Advisory team within Wells Fargo's Corporate and Investment Bank.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will support deal origination, transaction execution, and content generation, working closely with our team of experienced bankers and advisors. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about sustainability and have a strong interest in corporate and investment banking products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support deal origination and transaction execution, including research and analysis of client needs and market trends.
  • Assist in the development of client presentations, pitch books, and other marketing materials.
  • Contribute to the creation of content, including whitepapers, articles, and other thought leadership pieces.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the Wells Fargo platform to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of Investment Banking Program experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, colleagues, and senior management.
  • Knowledge of corporate and investment banking products, including lending, mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, and other related areas.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • BS/BA degree or higher in a related field, such as finance, business, or economics.
  • 2+ years of sustainable finance experience, including knowledge of sustainability-related topics, such as ratings, reporting requirements, and financing.
  • Experience with investment banking product knowledge and technical expertise, including familiarity with financial modeling, data analysis, and market research.
