Requirements
  • Valid Illinois Professional Educators License with LBS1 endorsement
  • Minimum 5 years of successful classroom teaching experience in special education
  • Effective leadership, communication, and presentation skills
  • In-depth knowledge of current reading instruction, student-centered learning, and data analysis
  • Ability to plan, implement, and evaluate instructional programs
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Use discreet judgment and hold confidential matters
  • Knowledge of computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Proven ability to work cooperatively and effectively with colleagues
  • Successful background clearance and physical, and drug/alcohol screening
