Sales Representative, Residential Repaint Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join our team at Sherwin-Williams. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for growing our paint sales territory, focusing primarily on the Residential Repaint market segment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to grow sales and profits with key, opportunity, new, and existing customers
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers by understanding and supporting their business needs
  • Conduct product demonstrations to support solutions for customers
  • Collaborate with stores to achieve business goals
  • Generate leads and identify new business opportunities
  • Determine pricing schedules for quotes, promotions, and negotiations
  • Prepare and submit sales contracts for orders
  • Visit clients and potential clients to evaluate needs or promote products and services
  • Maintain accurate client records
Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future
  • Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver's License
  • Must have at least a High School diploma or GED
  • Must have at least one year of experience working in a retail, sales, or customer service position
  • Must be willing to work all scheduled hours, which may include evenings and weekends, with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Must be able, with or without reasonable accommodation, to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion
Preferred Qualifications
  • At least one year of work experience as an Assistant Store or Branch Operations Manager for Sherwin-Williams
  • Previous work experience conducting outside sales calls
  • At least an associate degree in business, sales, or marketing
  • Previous work experience selling paint and paint-related products
  • Work experience using timekeeping and/or customer relationship management (CRM) systems
  • Willingness to relocate for future job opportunities
  • Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in more than one language
  • Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in Spanish
