Job SummaryThe Radiology Technologist operates radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment to produce high-quality images of designated body parts under the direct order of a physician and in accordance with radiation safety procedures. This role requires skills in multiple areas of the hospital, including pediatrics, operating room, portables, fluoroscopy, emergency department, and outpatient procedures.
Responsibilities- Operate radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment to produce high-quality images
- Work in multiple areas of the hospital, including pediatrics, operating room, portables, fluoroscopy, emergency department, and outpatient procedures
- Follow radiation safety procedures and work under the direct order of a physician
- Develop and maintain skills in multiple areas of the hospital
- Graduate of a radiologic technology program
- Registered Technologist for Radiography
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certification
- No experience required, but 1 year of clinical experience in radiology is preferred
This position requires a rotating shift schedule, including weekends and holidays. The specific schedule will be discussed during the interview process.
