**About the Role:** The Administrative Specialist will play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the Kentucky Commission on Human Rights (KCHR). This position requires strong organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

In this role, you will be responsible for receiving and processing complaints of discrimination, conducting interviews, and providing administrative support for education and outreach efforts. You will also represent the agency at the front desk and assist with other duties as needed.

To succeed in this position, you must have a bachelor's degree and one year of professional, administrative, or business experience. Additional education or experience may be substituted on a year-for-year basis. You should also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

We offer a competitive salary range of $40,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on your qualifications and experience. In addition to a rewarding work environment and opportunities for professional growth and development, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
