About the Role

As a Global Cloud Solutions Architect at Amazon, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable, flexible, and resilient technical architectures for our customers. You will work closely with our sales organization to address complex challenges and provide expert-level knowledge to solve them.

Key Responsibilities

Represent the voice of the customer and bring customer feedback to product teams to influence feature development and future product roadmap.
Provide advanced technical knowledge to your domain-aligned GTM teams to unblock our customers' largest and most critical business challenges.
Act as a thought leader sharing best practices through forums such as AWS blogs, whitepapers, reference architectures, and public-speaking events.
Partner with Business Development teams to define the technical components of best-in-class GTM concepts, solutions, and initiatives.
Develop and support an AWS internal community of technical subject matter experts worldwide.

Basic Qualifications

2+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience.
4+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g., software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience.
2+ years of AI/ML experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working within software development or Internet-related industries.
Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud.
Experience working with AWS technologies from a dev/ops perspective.
History of successful technical consulting and/or architecture engagements with large-scale customers or enterprises.
Familiarity with common enterprise services and working knowledge of software development tools and methodologies.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with a high degree of comfort speaking with executives, IT Management, and developers.
AWS Solution Architecture certification or relevant cloud expertise.
Computer Science/relevant degree and/or experience highly desired.
