Role Overview

The AWS Security US ADC Security, Industrial Security & Compliance team is tasked with the development, execution, and management of Amazon's National Industrial Security Program (NISP). As a Security Program Manager supporting the AWS NISP, you will collaborate with a team of top-tier security professionals dedicated to enhancing security protocols and processes for the IC Information Technology Enterprise. This role demands innovative problem-solving, a strong commitment to customer satisfaction, and a focus on quality outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide extensive program security guidance across various domains including personnel, physical, operational, technical, information, industrial, counterintelligence, and cybersecurity.
  • Establish, communicate, and oversee security requirements at a government-accredited facility while delivering daily multi-disciplinary program security operations support.
  • Identify and address program and physical security needs, proposing effective solutions to maintain and enhance program security.
  • Manage security hardware and systems on-site to comply with government and AWS security standards.
  • Foster relationships with internal stakeholders (operations staff, engineers, etc.) and external partners (vendors, contractors, government personnel) to promote security awareness and engagement.
  • Participate in on-call rotations to support security incidents and critical service disruptions.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in a Program Security Officer, CPSO, Security Specialist, or Security Manager role, with responsibilities involving the interpretation and implementation of security requirements.
  • 2+ years of experience with ICDs, NISPOM, and other government regulations pertaining to classified programs.
  • 2+ years of experience with physical security systems, including Intrusion Detection and Access Control Systems.
  • Current active U.S. Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • FSO/CSSO certification or training.
  • Experience with secure facility construction in compliance with ICD 705.
  • Experience as a COMSEC custodian or alternate.
  • Familiarity with information assurance and security policies, including system administration tasks.
  • Proven ability to independently drive program security projects.
  • Adaptability to new technologies and a quick learning curve.
