Cardiovascular Laboratory Specialist

The Sigma Healthcare team is seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Laboratory Specialist to join our dynamic team.
Work Schedule: 07:00 - 15:30
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute tasks in accordance with universal safety measures and infection control protocols.
- Comply with departmental standards for on-call responsibilities.
- Gather essential patient history and/or consents, ensuring accuracy and completeness while confirming patient identity prior to procedures.
- Review laboratory results before procedures to ensure they fall within acceptable ranges and confirm patient eligibility for contrast material administration as per established protocols.
- Maintain cleanliness of equipment and examination areas, ensuring an organized workspace to enhance operational efficiency.
- Utilize the hospital's computer systems in alignment with institutional guidelines.
- Demonstrate proficiency in necessary software applications, documentation, and electronic charting.
- Must be a graduate from an AMA accredited program in Radiologic Technology, Invasive Cardiovascular Technology, Paramedic Program, or Respiratory Therapy.
- Experience in cardiac or specialized procedures is preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
- New Hampshire medical imaging certification is required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification is required.
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or Radiologic Technologist (RT) (R) certification is necessary.
