Job Description:
Voca is seeking a skilled Catheterization Laboratory Specialist to join our team of healthcare professionals. As a Cath Lab Technologist, you will be responsible for assisting in the performance of diagnostic and interventional procedures in a hospital setting.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the cath lab, including setup and cleanup of equipment and supplies
- Prepare patients for procedures, including explaining the procedure and obtaining informed consent
- Assist the physician during procedures, including monitoring the patient's vital signs and providing support as needed
- Operate and maintain cath lab equipment, including angiography machines and fluoroscopy units
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure high-quality patient care
Requirements:
- Associate's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Current certification as a Cardiovascular Technologist or Radiologic Technologist
- 1+ year of experience in a cath lab or related field
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
