As a Technical Operations Manager, you will oversee technical operations related to the procurement of engine and engine component assets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and compile documentation for potential engine acquisitions. Organize LLP Back to Birth trace, assess for valuable components, and arrange engine trace in accordance with company and industry standards. Support any sales initiatives.
- Assess potential engine acquisitions for resale viability, whether as a pass-through sale or through shop visits. Possess knowledge of borescope evaluations, trend data analysis, work scope development, and compliance with Service Bulletins and AD Notes. Support any sales initiatives.
- Oversee inventory and work scope management for engines sent for repair.
- Coordinate the logistical movement of acquired engines.
- Assist with engine lease agreements as needed.
- Review and compile engine records and life-limited parts back to birth trace in compliance with company and industry sales standards to facilitate material sales.
- Review and compile trace documentation associated with parts acquisitions to ensure adherence to purchase and sales orders, supporting material sales.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in computer-based functions necessary for task execution.
- Operational understanding of engine parts sales organizations.
- Comprehensive knowledge of CFM56 engine parts and the use of OEM Manuals, including compliance with Service Bulletins and AD Notes.
- Willingness to travel as necessary.
