Piedmont Columbus Midtown is seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic and interventional procedures to ensure the highest level of patient care.
Responsibilities- Perform diagnostic and interventional procedures, including angiography, venography, myelography, nephro-ureteral, and gastrointestinal studies, as well as modality-assisted drainage and biopsies.
- Complete all post-processing functions to ensure accurate and timely results.
- Perform related record-keeping and patient care functions to maintain a high level of patient satisfaction.
- Ensure the utilization of established protocols and techniques to differentiate between adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations.
- Graduate of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology Program or Registered Nurse Program.
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (R) or Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS), or GA RN License.
- Advance Certification by ARRT in Vascular-Interventional Radiographer (VI) or Cardiac-Interventional Radiographer (CI) preferred.
- BLS Certified.
