Key Responsibilities
  • Safety and Security: Ensure the safety of all patrons, visitors, and employees at our locations.
  • Maintenance and Improvements: Oversee the maintenance and improvements of all Everstory properties, including buildings, fixtures, equipment, and operations.
  • Team Management: Manage a team of maintenance employees, providing support and training as needed.
  • Policy Enforcement: Enforce all company policies and procedures, coaching subordinates as needed.
  • Collaboration: Meet and work with location sales and administration teams to recognize and discuss current and future needs of each location.
  • Maintenance Duties: Perform day-to-day general maintenance duties, including landscape maintenance, equipment operation, and installation of cemetery vaults, headstones, and memorials.
Requirements
  • Education: High school equivalency required.
  • Experience: 3+ years of grounds maintenance supervisory experience and 5+ years of mechanical/building maintenance experience.
  • Cemetery Work Experience: Preferred.
  • Leadership Skills: Ability to supervise and train maintenance employees.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to handle multiple tasks with interruptions.
  • Operational Skills: Ability to operate maintenance equipment and machinery, including backhoe and mowing/trimming equipment.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • License: Must have a valid state driver's license.
