Key Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
  • 6-8 years of experience in crafting enterprise-level web solutions.
  • 2-3+ years of expertise in building intricate workflow-driven applications using Appian.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with a diverse user community.
Essential Skills:
  • Proven experience in executing one or more comprehensive Appian BPM projects (Design/Develop/Deploy/Package).
  • Proficient in hands-on development of Appian BPM applications, with the ability to swiftly write and test SAIL code.
  • Strong grasp of Appian components such as Record Types, Sites, Actions, Security, Expression Rules, Query Rules, Web API, Complex Data Types, Process Models, Decisions, Integrations, Connected Systems, Data Stores, Groups, etc.
  • Familiarity with Appian Integrations and Appian Plug-Ins.
  • Capable of contributing effectively to screen and workflow design for medium-sized projects.
  • Ability to utilize Appian technical documentation and the Appian user community to create new prototypes as needed.
  • Responsible for coding, configuring, debugging, unit testing, integration testing, and documenting application enhancements.
  • Support the creation of user manuals for new initiatives and improvements.
  • Analyze, troubleshoot, and refine existing application logic issues and update documentation as required.
  • Assist project teams in estimating timelines for tasks, deliverables, and activities.
  • Comply with organizational policies, standards, and best practices in application development, documentation, and maintenance that align with the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) using an Agile iterative development approach.
  • Preferred Skills:
  • Appian Level 2 Credential.
  • Understanding of Agile development methodologies.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD practices and the ability to effectively implement sustainable DevOps processes utilizing the Appian platform.
