Facility Overview:

MaineHealth Maine Medical Center-Portland is seeking dedicated Hematologist Oncologists to enhance the oncology program within the MaineHealth Cancer Care Network (MHCCN).

This role involves becoming part of a dynamic general oncology practice that includes three seasoned Hematologist Oncologists, a Malignant Hematologist, and two Advanced Practice Registered Nurses (APRNs).


Key Responsibilities:
- Benefit from established Primary Care referral networks with various community sources.

- Collaborate with an on-site infusion center supported by specialized oncology pharmacists, nurse navigators, palliative care providers, social workers, and additional allied health professionals.

- Inpatient care is primarily managed by Hospitalists at a local hospital, supplemented by advanced oncology services available through affiliated facilities.

- This full-time position entails four days of outpatient clinic duties and one day dedicated to administrative responsibilities.

- Participate in shared call rotations with network partners, approximately once every six weeks.

Qualifications & Experience:

- Completion of Residency/Fellowship at an accredited program.
