Job Summary

Loc Performance Products, LLC is seeking a skilled Heat Assembler to join our production team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assembling machinery components, such as operating cylinders, electric control cases, transmissions, clutches, and special tools, according to specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transport and lift specified parts from storage to work area manually or by using overhead crane/swing crane.
  • Operate hydraulic press.
  • Heat parts with use of blow torch.
  • Work quickly and safely to assemble heated parts before they cool down.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and two to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Work Environment

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
