Job Summary:

Loc Performance is seeking a skilled Heat Assembler to join our production team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assembling machinery components, such as operating cylinders, electric control cases, transmissions, clutches, and special tools, according to specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transport and lift specified parts from storage to work area manually or by using overhead crane/swing crane.
  • Operate hydraulic press.
  • Heat parts with use of blow torch.
  • Work quickly and safely to assemble heated parts before they cool down.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and two to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Working Conditions:

The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
