Job Title: EHS Specialist

Job Summary:

Cipla is seeking an experienced Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing EHS programs to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement EHS policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct risk assessments and identify corrective and preventative measures to mitigate hazards.
  • Investigate incidents and accidents to determine root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Provide training and education to employees on EHS procedures and best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure EHS considerations are integrated into business decisions.
  • Develop and maintain EHS metrics and reports to track performance and identify areas for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety and Health or a related field.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in EHS, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of EHS regulations and standards, including OSHA and EPA.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Occupational Safety and Health or a related field.
  • Certifications such as CSP or CIH.
  • Experience with EHS software and systems.
