Position Overview

The Accounting Operations Manager will be responsible for leading and overseeing the financial reporting and general ledger accounting team. This role encompasses the management of daily operations, employee training, and performance evaluation.

Key Responsibilities

1. Supervise the month-end closing process to ensure the production of timely and precise financial statements in compliance with US GAAP or IFRS.

2. Prepare and critically assess financial documents, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

3. Maintain and manage the general ledger, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded and classified.

4. Develop and enforce internal controls to protect financial assets and maintain data integrity.

5. Collaborate with various departments (such as sales, operations, and tax) to collect and consolidate financial data.

6. Analyze financial information to identify trends and opportunities for enhancement.

7. Stay updated with the latest accounting standards and regulations, including IFRS and SEC guidelines.

8. Facilitate and support the external audit process.
