Audiology Specialist

To provide comprehensive audiology services, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with hearing, balance, and related disorders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patients' audiologic function and discuss findings with patients or caregivers.
- Document patients' case history, test results, and recommendations for follow-up in medical records.
- Counsel patients on treatment options for hearing loss and refer them to specialists when appropriate.
- Provide education on hearing conservation and manage chronic tinnitus in patients.
- Conduct vestibular function evaluations for patients experiencing dizziness, vertigo, or imbalance.
- Perform and interpret electro physiologic and special tests of the auditory system.
- Educate patients about hearing aid device options and evaluate hearing aids when necessary.
- Perform other specialized duties related to implantable devices, fitting and troubleshooting hearing aids, and vestibular testing.
Basic Qualifications:
- Master's degree and a minimum four (4) years of experience in audiology or Au.D.
- Licensure as a Clinical Audiologist.
- Certification in Basic Life Support from American Heart Association.
- PECOS Enrollment within 3 months of hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum one (1) year of experience in vestibular testing, behavioral pediatric assessment, and Auditory Evoked Potential testing.
