Job Title: Production Line Assembler


Job Description




  • You will be responsible for assembling parts using a variety of tools and equipment in a specific area of the production line. This role requires a minimum of 5 years of assembly experience.




  • Pumps/compressor assembly experience is a significant advantage




  • Experience working with blueprints and technical drawings is essential.




  • Proficiency in using pneumatic tools and hand tools, such as screwdrivers, hammers, and wrenches, is required.




  • Positions or aligns components for sub-assembly, assembly, manually or using hoists.




  • Assembles components according to specifications and quality standards.




  • Ensures all parts are fitted and screwed in properly, with attention to detail and quality control.




  • Interprets measurements and adjusts dimensions to fit specifications.




  • Sets and verifies parts clearances to ensure proper fit and function.




  • Troubleshoots test failures and performs repairs as needed, with a focus on quality and efficiency.




  • Repairs warranty pumps and ensures they meet quality standards.




  • Maintains a clean and safe working environment, adhering to company safety protocols.




  • Rejects product that does not conform to specifications, ensuring quality and consistency.




  • Completes quality control forms and tags, accurately documenting production processes.




  • Reports errors in the production line, identifying areas for improvement and contributing to process optimization.




  • Checks stock levels to ensure inventory is replenished, maintaining a smooth production flow.




Additional Skills & Requirements




  • Experience in a manufacturing facility, with a focus on assembly and production processes.




  • Experience in general assembly work or mechanical trade work, with a strong understanding of tools and equipment.




  • Proficiency in using pneumatic driven tools and hand tools, with a focus on efficiency and quality.




  • Ability to interpret measurements and adjust dimensions to fit specifications, with attention to detail and quality control.




Work Schedule




  • 7:00am - 3:45pm, Monday - Friday.
