Job Title: Electrical Service Technician

Facility Solutions Group is seeking an experienced Electrical Service Technician to join our team in San Diego, CA.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and reliable Electrical Service Technician to perform terminal and electrical service, equipment and system repair, maintenance, testing and installation tasks to a variety of facilities. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in lighting or electrical maintenance, a California Electrician License, and the ability to pass a drug and background screen.

Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot and resolve problems in electrical circuits, systems, and equipment.
  • Prepare sketches showing location of wiring and equipment, or follows diagrams or blueprints, ensuring that concealed wiring is installed before completion of future walls, ceilings, and flooring.
  • Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures, based on job specifications.
  • Test electrical systems or continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures, using testing devices, such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, or oscilloscopes, to ensure compatibility and safety of system.
  • Work from ladders, scaffolds, or roofs to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures.
Requirements:
  • 3-5 years experience in lighting or electrical maintenance.
  • California Electrician License preferred.
  • Must be able to pass a drug and background screen.
  • Must be able to meet criteria to drive a company vehicle.
  • Must be willing to work nights.
  • Valid and current drivers license.
