Journeyman Electrician Job Description

Facility Solutions Group is seeking a skilled Journeyman Electrician to join our team in Sacramento, San Jose, or Southern California. As a key member of our electrical services team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical circuit, system, and equipment issues.
  • Plan and install electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, ensuring compliance with safety codes and local regulations.
  • Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits to ensure compatibility and safety.
  • Work from ladders, scaffolds, or roofs to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures.
  • Perform physically demanding tasks while conveying knowledge of basic and specialized tools and equipment.
Requirements:
  • Current California Certified Electrician License.
  • Experience in service preferred.
  • Ability to multitask while staying organized.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Positive customer service skills.
  • Experience in lighting a plus.
