Role Summary
This position involves working with patients who have complex hearing issues, requiring advanced audiological expertise.
Main Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat patients with challenging hearing conditions using advanced audiological techniques.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
- Train and mentor junior staff members on audiological best practices and clinical procedures.
- Advise healthcare professionals on audiological principles, clinical techniques, and patient care strategies.
- Contribute to the creation of clinical guidelines and protocols for audiological care.
Requirements
- Masters degree in audiology from a recognized institution with substantial clinical experience.
- New York State license in audiology and ASHA certification in clinical competence.
- Three years of full-time experience in audiology following licensure, preferably in a hospital or healthcare setting.
