Position Overview

The Bartender is responsible for assisting guests in selecting the ideal beverages, possessing extensive knowledge of wines, and managing cash and credit transactions effectively. A clean and organized bar environment is essential, along with the ability to thrive in a high-energy setting.

  1. Prepare and serve beverages in accordance with established protocols and safety standards.
  2. Set up the bar area, ensuring all supplies are stocked and ready for service.
  3. Adhere to health and safety regulations consistently.
  4. Manage guest checks accurately, documenting all necessary information during the ordering process.
  5. Process guest payments, ensuring precision in billing and safeguarding both customer and company interests.
  6. Complete all preparatory tasks prior to the commencement of service.
  7. Comply with all applicable liquor laws and regulations.
  8. Respond swiftly to guest inquiries and requests.
  9. Exhibit a professional demeanor, maintaining a positive attitude and approach.
  10. Facilitate clear communication among staff to enhance the overall dining experience.
  11. Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas throughout service.
  12. Reset dining areas post-service to ensure readiness for future guests.
  13. Contribute to creating an enjoyable atmosphere for all patrons.
  14. Foster a fun work environment, arriving with a positive mindset to enhance guest experiences.
  15. Ensure all cleaning and side tasks are completed before concluding your shift.
  16. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Essential Requirements:

  • Experience in a fast-paced environment with a focus on wine.
  • Basic arithmetic skills, including addition, subtraction, and providing change accurately.
  • Legible handwriting and strong communication skills are necessary.
  • A valid liquor license is required.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least one year of bartending experience is preferred.

Legal Eligibility:

Must be authorized to work in the United States.
