About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious CDL driver to join our team at Waste Connections. As a driver, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional service to our customers while ensuring the safe operation of our garbage trucks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safely operate a garbage truck on designated routes to collect solid waste.
  • Read route sheets and service each customer identified on the sheet or assigned by the dispatcher.
  • Perform routine pre- and post-route inspections on vehicles, including checking fluids, safety equipment, and tires.
  • Engage in professional and courteous interactions with customers when necessary.
  • Perform other miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Valid Class A or B CDL
  • Clean driving record
  • At least 1 year of CDL local route driving experience
