Job SummaryWe are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team. As a CNA, you will provide high-quality care to residents in our long-term care facilities. This is a casual position, offering flexibility and autonomy in your work schedule.
Responsibilities- Attend to the individual needs of residents, including assistance with personal and oral hygiene, feeding, incontinent care, and toileting.
- Observe residents for changes in condition or behavior and report these changes to licensed nursing personnel.
- Provide care that maintains each resident's skin integrity, including changing incontinent residents, turning, and repositioning immobile residents.
- Answer residents' call bells promptly and courteously.
- Perform various tasks assigned by the charge nurse, including vital signs, residents' weights, and applying creams/ointments.
- Assist with orienting residents and their families to the nursing home upon admission and to the unit when transfers occur.
- Lift, move, and transport residents using proper body mechanics or lifting devices.
- Communicate and interact effectively with residents, visitors, families, peers, and supervisors.
- Complete certified nursing assistant records, documenting care provided or other information in keeping with department policies.
- A high school diploma or equivalent, plus successful completion of a state-approved Nursing Assistant Certification course.
- A current Nursing Assistant Certification in the state in which you are practicing and at least 6 months of experience in long-term care.
- Reliable means of transportation and a negative TB test, valid within the last 6 months.
Pay is determined based on years of experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant. The pay range is $22-$25 per hour.
Midwest Clinical Resource, LLC is not a 1099 employer.
