The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at MedStar Health is a specialized 18-bed unit dedicated to providing care for the most critically ill patients in our community.
Our team is equipped to deliver life-saving treatments, including but not limited to targeted temperature management, intra-aortic balloon pumps (IABP), continuous renal replacement therapy, Vioptix, and pulmonary artery catheters (PACs).
The ICU focuses on post-TNK administration, return of spontaneous circulation (ROSC), and recovery following TCAR surgical procedures.
Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Clinical Nurse, you will provide expert nursing care to patients and their families, addressing a spectrum of needs from straightforward to highly intricate.
Your role will involve identifying both current and potential complex issues within specific patient populations, critically analyzing trends and changes in patient conditions, and planning suitable interventions, either directly or in collaboration with other nursing staff.

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess an ADN, BSN, MSN, or CNL from an accredited School of Nursing. Prior clinical nursing experience is preferred.
An active MD RN License or an active Compact State RN license, along with Basic Life Support certification for Healthcare providers, is required.
This position offers a competitive salary range.
