Production Operations Specialist

At Packaging Corporation of America (PCA), a leading ideas and solutions company, we are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team on 2nd shift at our Akron, Ohio facility.
Job Summary:
- We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician who will work closely with other production personnel to maintain a safe and efficient manufacturing operation.

Responsibilities:
- Work as part of a team to increase productivity and reduce downtime in our manufacturing operation.
- Assume an active role in overall plant and facilities-related work, assisting all jobs on the plant floor.
- Fully adhere to all company safety rules and lock-out tag-out procedures.
Requirements:
- High School Graduate or GED
- Possession of knowledge and practical application experience in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic maintenance.
- Welding skills, including MIG and ARC.
- Strong electrical background in Industrial Electrical Controls, as well as Mechanical abilities.
- Able to pass pre-employment background and drug test.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a packaging or other manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with conveyors and pumps.
Competitive Compensation Package:
- The salary range for this position is $55-$65 per hour.
