The Dispensary Associate is a key member of our team at Acreage Holdings, responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support in our dispensary. This role requires a high level of customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Patient Interaction: Greet patients and caregivers, check eligibility and validity of Medical Marijuana (MMJ) cards, and oversee member intake and renewal procedures.
- Registration and Renewal: Assist potential patients with registering or reregistering into the MMJ program.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date member records in compliance with State law and Company policy.
- Education and Support: Answer questions about the law and the Company from members and others, and assist patients/caregivers in selecting medicine, advising and educating them about safe dosage and other aspects of this medicine.
- Inventory and Cash Management: Assist management and the Pharmacist with inventory and cash management, daily and weekly.
- Facility Maintenance: Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment inside and outside the facility.
- Customer Service: Provide outstanding phone and in-person customer service skills.
- Time Management: Thrive in a fast-paced environment with the ability to stay even-keel in periods of stress.
- Proactivity and Adaptability: Demonstrate proactivity, flexibility, adaptability, and multi-tasking skills.
- Confidentiality and Ethics: Maintain confidentiality and exhibit ethical conduct.
- Cash Management and Inventory Control: Skill in accurate cash management and inventory control.
- Communication and Planning: Strong written and oral interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to effectively plan and prioritize.
- Teamwork and Reliability: Ability to work effectively as part of a team, with absolute reliability and honesty.
- Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent, with 2 years post-secondary education in a related field preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in operating computer and office equipment, including Microsoft Office and office equipment.
