We are seeking a highly skilled Business Operations Specialist to join our team at UIC Government Services and the Bowhead Family of Companies. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in supporting the NAVAIR Command Strategic Leadership Support Services effort in Patuxent River, MD.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Apply Advanced Methods: Utilize advanced methods, theories, and research techniques to investigate and solve complex business problems or issues.
- Business Case Analysis: Develop business case analysis, prepare white papers, justifications, alternatives, and recommendations to support corporate initiatives.
- Program Analysis: Analyze complex requirements, status, budget, and schedules to ensure effective program management.
- Management and Technical Analysis: Perform management, technical, or business case analyses, collecting, completing, organizing, and interpreting data relating to NAVAIR command programs.
- Project Tracking: Track program/project status and schedules to ensure timely completion.
- Documentation and Compliance: Apply government-instituted processes for documentation, change control management, and data management.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a relevant managerial discipline. An Associate's degree and an additional four years of experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's degree, or an additional eight years of experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's degree.
- Experience: At least eight years of hands-on experience in business financial analysis, continual process improvement, communication techniques, or managing data for large organizations.
- Industry Experience: Experience working with industry/government executive level personnel and demonstrated knowledge of management and operations of Department of Navy Systems Commands.
- Technical Skills: Experience using and designing Microsoft 365 applications, including Office, Power BI, SharePoint, PowerPoint, Power Automate, and Lists.
Must currently hold a security clearance at the Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.
Physical Demands- Lifting: Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds.
- Standing and Walking: Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time.
- Twisting, Bending, and Squatting: Must be able to twist, bend, and squat periodically.
