About the Role

We are seeking a highly qualified Radiography Instructor to join our team at American Career College. As a key member of our faculty, you will play a vital role in shaping the next generation of healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality instruction to students in radiography and related fields, utilizing effective teaching methods and current industry practices.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans, ensuring students meet course and program objectives.
  • Maintain accurate attendance and grade records, providing regular feedback to students.
  • Stay current with industry developments and advancements in radiography, applying this knowledge to enhance teaching and student outcomes.
  • Participate in faculty meetings, professional growth activities, and in-service training sessions to stay up-to-date with best practices.
  • Contribute to college activities, such as in-services, faculty meetings, student functions, and advisory board meetings.
Requirements
  • Minimum of three years of occupational experience in diagnostic radiography or a closely related field.
  • Two years of full-time clinical experience in diagnostic radiography.
  • One year of teaching experience in radiography or related fields, or prior training in instructional methodology and teaching skills.
  • Baccalaureate degree.
  • Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Radiography.
  • Current CRT permit (State of California certification).
  • Current CPR Card.
