About the Role

We are seeking a highly qualified Radiography Instructor to join our team at American Career College. As a key member of our faculty, you will play a vital role in shaping the next generation of Radiography Technicians.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality instruction to students in radiography courses, utilizing effective teaching methods and current industry knowledge.
  • Develop and implement daily lesson plans, providing guidance and support to students as needed.
  • Maintain accurate attendance and grade records, ensuring compliance with college policies and procedures.
  • Stay current in the field of radiography, participating in ongoing professional development and training.
  • Participate in faculty meetings, in-service training sessions, and other college activities, contributing to a collaborative and student-centered environment.
  • Strive for student success, providing quality instruction that prepares students for entry-level positions in the healthcare field.
Requirements
  • Minimum of three years of occupational experience in diagnostic radiography or a closely related field.
  • Two years of full-time clinical experience in diagnostic radiography.
  • Minimum of one year of teaching experience in radiography or demonstration of prior training in instructional methodology and teaching skills.
  • Baccalaureate degree.
  • Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Radiography.
  • Current CRT permit (State of California certification).
  • Current CPR Card.
