Key Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership to teams from various skill areas, including engineering, project management, and operations.

  • Obtain approvals from customers and management for project plans, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Assess changes to Statements of Work (SOW) and negotiate modifications with customers and stakeholders.
  • Lead project development and report technical performance metrics to stakeholders.
  • Coordinate resources over the project lifecycle, including personnel, equipment, and materials.
  • Compare actual results to baseline plans and identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide technical and integration leadership to ensure project success.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, the Project Manager must have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in engineering, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
  • 5+ years of team/project leadership experience, including experience leading cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 10+ years of experience as a Technical Lead for USAF deliverable capability.
  • Experience briefing senior management and leading multidiscipline teams.
  • Experience with USAF Technical Orders and Time Compliant Technical Orders.
  • Experience leading technical/source data reviews and working in an organic aircraft modification environment.
  • Experience with Boeing Global Services Programs.
