About the Role

Salary Information

The estimated salary for this role is $19.50 - $26.75 per hour, depending on experience, with opportunities for advancement and professional growth. Job Description

This position provides direct patient care, working under the guidance of RNs to provide dialysis treatment to multiple patients at a time. You will have a combination of technical skills and compassion needed to improve the quality of life for our patients while promoting positive patient outcomes. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Setting up hemodialysis machines
  • Greeting patients, collecting information, and reporting concerns to lead nurses
  • Assisting with vascular access preparation and cannulation
  • Maintaining accurate records of patient vital signs and fluid removal
  • Responding to emergency situations and providing appropriate interventions
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have a high school diploma, basic computer knowledge, and the ability to work long hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. You will also need to pass the Certified Clinical Hemodialysis Technician (CCHT) exam within 18 months of employment and obtain Basic Life Support certification. Excellent communication and bedside manner skills are essential for success in this position.
