Position Overview:
We are in search of a highly qualified and experienced Tax Manager to become a vital part of our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in tax consulting, management, and partnerships, specifically with form 1065. This full-time role offers competitive compensation and an attractive benefits package.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the tax compliance process for real estate partnerships, including the preparation and review of federal and state income tax returns, estimates, and extensions.
- Ensure the accurate and timely submission of all tax returns and related documentation, including form 1065 and K-1s.
- Analyze and interpret tax legislation and regulations to ensure compliance and optimize tax liabilities.
- Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships, offering expert guidance on tax-related issues.
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors and tax authorities.
- Conduct thorough tax research and provide strategic recommendations for tax planning.
- Participate in the formulation and execution of tax policies and procedures.
- Mentor and provide training to junior staff members.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline.
- CPA certification is preferred.
- At least 3 years of experience in tax management, particularly in real estate and partnerships, with expertise in form 1065.
- Strong understanding of federal and state tax laws and regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Capacity to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and tax software applications.
