Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Solar Technician to join our team. As a Solar Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of solar power plants, ensuring they operate at optimal levels and meet the highest safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain and repair solar power plants, including troubleshooting and resolving system problems in a timely manner.
- Perform daily mechanical and electrical inspections to ensure proper working order.
- Document all work, including work orders, service orders, time logs, and emergency information schedules.
- Manage inventory control of assigned equipment to ensure adequate stock levels.
- Train and mentor laborers into apprentices, ensuring they meet safety and plant requirements.
- Stay up-to-date with continuing education to meet safety and plant requirements.
- Valid Driver's License REQUIRED
- 3 years suitable employment experience
- High aptitude and a strong work ethic
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to perform basic electrical calculations and read electrical schematics
- Ability to manage priorities and workflow, working independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to perform necessary physical activity, including lifting up to 80 Lbs
- Ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels and from various backgrounds
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Valid Driver's License REQUIRED
