About the Role

We are looking for a motivated individual to fill the position of Landscaping and Turf Specialist in the City of Burnet, Texas.

Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year.

Responsibilities

The Landscaping and Turf Specialist will be responsible for maintaining the city's golf course and facilities. This includes:

  • Maintenance of golf course turf, trees, shrubs, and flowers.
  • Operation of heavy equipment, such as tractors and mowers.
  • Performance of routine cleaning and maintenance on assigned equipment.
  • Assistance with basic plumbing, carpentry, landscaping and painting work.
  • Assistance in the maintenance of sprinkler systems and the repair and installation of sprinkler lines and heads.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must have:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Landscape or Golf Course Maintenance experience preferred but not required.
  • Valid Texas driver's license with a driving record meeting policy standard.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment screenings and background check
  • Ability to work weekends, holidays and after hours (scheduled and non-scheduled)
