Job Summary

This role is responsible for leading the fundraising and community awareness efforts at Pregnancy Resource Center. The successful candidate will work closely with the Executive Director to develop and implement strategies that cultivate philanthropic support and meet the organization's short- and long-term needs.

About the Role

The Chief Development Officer will play a crucial role in building donor relationships, expanding the donor base, and implementing fundraising campaigns. This position requires excellent communication skills, both written and oral, as well as strong strategic thinking and project management abilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Fundraising: Develop and execute an annual fundraising plan in collaboration with the executive director to meet annual fundraising targets.
  • Special Events: Plan and ensure execution of all special fundraising efforts such as the Lifeholder Circle Dinner, Breakfast with Life Champions, and Walk4Life.
  • Campaigns: Plan and ensure execution of all campaigns such as Summer Matching, End of Year, and potential Capital campaigns.
  • Fund Development: Design, implement, coordinate, and evaluate efforts in annual giving, major gifts, planned giving, endowment, special events, grants, and other ongoing activities.
  • Data Management: Compile, organize, and assess data as it pertains to the annual fundraising plan; report in a timely manner, the monthly and annual progress and effectiveness of development efforts to the Executive Director and board of directors; identify problems in meeting objectives and recommend solutions.
  • Donor Relations: Cultivate and nurture relationships with current and potential donors and community churches to establish a more extensive financial base and new opportunities.
  • Marketing: Represent PRC at local events and churches, speaking and sharing about PRC's mission to engage new supporters.

Estimated Salary Range

$70,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience.
