Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled EEG Technician to join our team at Ascension Wisconsin. As a key member of our Neurodiagnostic Lab, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic electroencephalograph (EEG) testing, attaching and operating electrodes, and reviewing patient records.

Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic EEG testing and attach, connect, and operate electrodes from specified body areas to leads from electroencephalograph machine.
  • Review patient records and instruct patients prior to procedures, monitoring patient during procedures and reporting any abnormal findings.
  • Identify and correct for artifacts, edit and forward results to attending physician for analysis and interpretation.
  • Maintain EEG equipment and supplies.
Requirements
  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 month of hire date or job transfer date required.
  • Electroencephalographic Technician credentialed from the ABRET Neurodiagnostic Credentialing & Accreditation (ABRET) preferred.
  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience, Associate's degree/Technical degree, or 4 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience required.
